Frequently Asked Questions
Welcome! I've included the most frequently asked questions on this page. If you have a question you don't see answered here, please don't hesitate to get in touch with me via the contact page. I look forward to connecting with you!
What does concierge physical therapy mean?
Concierge physical therapy is a premium, personalized model of care designed to prioritize your time and health goals. Unlike traditional clinics where therapists often juggle multiple patients, concierge care provides you with one-on-one attention. This means longer sessions, direct communication with your provider, and a customized plan that fits seamlessly into your lifestyle without the constraints of traditional insurance-driven models.
Do you accept insurance?
Coastal Concierge is an out-of-network provider. This allows us to focus entirely on your recovery and performance rather than being restricted by insurance company rules on which treatments are "covered." While we do not bill insurance directly, we can provide you with a "superbill" that you may submit to your insurance company for potential out-of-network reimbursement.
What is a Good Faith Estimate and how does that work?
Under the No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. This estimate outlines the total expected cost of services. Upon request, we can provide this to you in writing before your first session so there are never any surprises regarding the investment in your health.
What's the difference between the Strong & Resilient Program and concierge physical therapy services?
Concierge physical therapy is typically focused on clinical treatment, pain management, and rehabilitating specific injuries through manual therapy and corrective exercise. The Strong & Resilient Program is a specialized, 12-week intensive designed for active individuals who want to bridge the gap between "rehab" and "performance." It focuses on building a foundation of strength and durability to prevent future injuries and help you return to the activities you love with confidence.
What’s the difference between the Discharge Recharge and the Strong & Resilient Program?
The Discharge Recharge is a targeted, multi-session "bridge" program specifically for those who have recently finished traditional physical therapy but don't feel quite ready to jump back into full activity. The Strong & Resilient Program is a longer, more comprehensive 12-week transformation that goes deeper into progressive strength training and long-term athletic durability.
Who is the Unstoppable Membership for?
The Unstoppable Membership is designed for our "graduates" and high-performers who want ongoing support. It’s for the individual who has reached their initial goals but wants a consistent, expert-guided maintenance plan to stay mobile, strong, and injury-free year-round.
Do you see clients in their homes?
Yes. We can bring the clinic to you. Whether it’s at your home or office, we provide mobile physical therapy services to ensure your treatment is as convenient as possible.
How do online sessions work?
Our virtual sessions are conducted via a HIPAA compliant platform. During these calls, we perform movement assessments, provide exercise progressions, and discuss lifestyle modifications. It is a highly effective way to receive expert guidance and accountability if you are traveling or prefer the convenience of working from your own space.
What areas do you serve?
Coastal Concierge provides in-person mobile services throughout the South Shore area and surrounding coastal communities. If you are outside our immediate travel zone, our virtual programs and online sessions are available to help you reach your goals regardless of location.
How do I get started?
The best way to start is by booking a complimentary Discovery Call. This allows us to discuss your specific needs, answer any questions, and ensure we are the right fit for your goals. You can schedule that directly through our website.
What should I bring or expect for my first visit?
For your initial evaluation, please wear comfortable athletic clothing that allows you to move freely. You can expect a deep dive into your medical history, a comprehensive movement screen, and a clear discussion about your goals. We will finish the first session with a roadmap for your care so you know exactly what to expect moving forward.
Can I receive concierge physical therapy and VNA services at the same time?
Absolutely! Because Coastal Concierge operates as an out-of-network provider, our services do not conflict with VNA or home health services covered by Medicare or private insurance. Many clients choose to work with us alongside VNA services to receive more frequent, specialized, or performance-based one-on-one attention than traditional home health may allow. We are always happy to coordinate with your VNA team to ensure your care is cohesive and safe.
